The leader of Reform UK, Nigel Farage, has announced via Twitter that he thinks the world is being taken over “by stealth by the Chinese Communist Party”.
Nigel Farage has warned the British Government to “wake up to the dangers and act quickly” as the Chinese Communist Party increases its influence over British education.
This comes as a result of private schools having increasing reliance on international Chinese students using their facilities to maintain funding.
Since 2014, there have been a number of institutions propped up by Chinese companies to allow these establishments to remain open.
The example given by Farage is the Bright Scholars Group, which owns a number of schools and colleges across the UK. This is run by Yan Huiyan, whose father is a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party.
Farage has claimed that the UK government has been “too pro-China for too long.” He suggests that this is all because “money talks.”
This was paired with a video produced by the Reform UK leader and posted on Twitter.
BREAKING
Chinese billionaires with direct links to the CCP are buying up British schools — and flooding the curriculum with their propaganda.

Farage has suggested that this is “unbearably sinister”, and that the Chinese are trying to “literally indoctrinate” our children with “an utterly sanitised view of China in the past and China today”.
His criticisms include the apps and textbooks that are being introduced into British schools, which have “no mention, of course, of what’s happening to the Uyghurs or democracy in Hong Kong”.
Farage concluded by stating “this isn’t just an economic takeover of the West”, saying that it was “one of the most sinister things I’ve seen from China”.
He has put pressure on Education Secretary Gavin Williamson to make an announcement on what can be done to prevent further encroachment by the Chinese Communist Party.
As of yet, there has been no response from the Government.
