A left-wing political commentator has attacked the Queen’s involvement in politics as Head of State.
Femi Oluwole attacked the idea of the Queen opening parliament and listing the Government’s legislative priorities. He also criticised the Government because he believes they are forcing the Queen to “lie”.
During the Twitter storm, Femi also attacked the Government’s “racist” and “fascist” plan to institute voter ID for forthcoming elections.
