Meghan Markle’s half-sister said on Monday that her estranged relative suffers from “narcissistic personality disorder” and that Prince Harry is the victim of Stockholm Syndrome.
“I definitely see a narcissistic personality disorder. I’m not diagnosing her. She needs to see a counsellor,’’ Samantha Markle told the Australian radio show “Fifi, Fev and Nick’’ the day after Meghan and Harry’s TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Samantha Markle claimed she “felt sorry for Harry” as Meghan pulled him away from “his family, all of his friends, the life that he knew”.
She added: “He reminds me of one of those kidnap victims who eventually starts to believe that their life was so horrible and they’re in love with their captor.”
In addition to taking on the Royal Family during the interview with Winfrey, Meghan ripped into Samantha, attacking the half-sister’s new “tell-all’’ memoir, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister, Part 1.
“I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don’t know me,” Meghan said.
Meghan claimed that the last time she saw Samantha “must have been at least 18, 19 years ago’’ and referred to herself as “an only child”. Samantha Markle claimed that the last time that she saw Meghan was in 2008 – neither 18 nor 19 years ago.
Samantha also claimed that Meghan “idolised Diana” and she “went to great lengths to study Diana, to mimic her clothing, to mimic her body language and to wear Diana’s perfume on their first date”.
