Uncomfortable footage has resurfaced of Labour leader Keir Starmer making a staunch defence of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
This comes after the new Labour leader was forced into an embarrassing u-turn, finding himself compelled by his pro-Corbyn Party membership into re-admitting Corbyn after the former leader had been suspended for accusations of antisemitism.
In the footage, Sir Keir can be heard saying that the “media attacks on Jeremy Corbyn” over open Jew-hatred in the Labour Party, anti-democratic Brexit policy, and the use of violent political enforcers were “terrible.”in the following clip originally posted by the Left wing host of Novara Media’s #Tyskysour podcast Michael Walker:
Maybe this is the evidence used to have Corbyn readmitted to the Labour ranks, a climb down for the current leader that has severely undermined his authority.
It has been yet another bad start to the week for the Labour leader.
Britain needs a decent patriotic opposition to ensure good governance, and on this shambolic showing, it is clear that Keir, just like Corbyn, is letting us down.
